Finding BANANAS on BART

Rockridge Station
Get off at Rockridge Station on the Concord/Bay Point Line. Do not exit the BART Station at the escalator. Instead walk across the tunnel-bridge which crosses College. When you come down the stairs, turn right and follow Shafter (the street running alongside the Market Hall) to Forest, turn right onto Forest, go 2 blocks to Claremont Avenue. Turn left onto Claremont. BANANAS is 3 ½ blocks on the left-hand side of the street.

MacArthur Station
Get off at MacArthur Station, walk ½ block East (toward hills) to Telegraph Avenue and either:

1. Take a #1 or #1R bus toward Berkeley, get off at 51st St., walk across 51st to Claremont Avenue, turn right and BANANAS is 1 ½ blocks on the right-hand side of the street; or
2. Turn left on Telegraph Avenue and walk to Claremont Avenue (about 7 blocks), turn right on Claremont Avenue, and BANANAS is 1 ½ blocks on the right-hand side of the street.

Highway #80 from the North
Go past Emeryville Exit towards 580 (Hayward) -- then stay in the right-hand lanes, go towards #24 (Walnut Creek), get off at Claremont Exit, turn right onto Claremont Avenue. BANANAS is 2 ½ blocks on the left-hand side of the street.

Highway #80 from the West
After coming across the Bay Bridge, go towards #580 (Hayward) and then #24 (Walnut Creek), get off at the Claremont Exit, turn right onto Claremont Avenue. BANANAS is on the left-hand side of the street.

Highway #580 from the East
Stay on the right-hand side and take #24 (Walnut Creek), get off at Claremont Exit, turn right onto Claremont Avenue; BANANAS is 2 ½ blocks on the left-hand side of the street.

Highway #880 from the South
Follow signs to #980, then stay in left-hand lanes towards #24 (Walnut Creek), get off at Claremont Exit, turn right onto Claremont Avenue. BANANAS is 2 ½ blocks on the left-hand side of the street.

Highway #24 from the East
Use the Telegraph Avenue Exit, turn left onto Telegraph Avenue, go one long block and turn left on Claremont Avenue. BANANAS is 1 ½ blocks on the right-hand side of the street.

Daytime parking is on the street. Be sure to read signs regarding street-sweeping days. When attending evening or weekend events, use the parking lot behind the building
